NJB has partnered with National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCIS), a leader in Youth Centered Background Screening. NCIS will provide coach and director background checks and the Abuse Prevention Training for our NJB coaches.
The program will fulfill the Federal Safe Sport Act requirements for our NJB coaches
Coaches and directors must be registered with NJB National and complete their abuse prevention training online. In addition- coaches will consent to a background check to be eligible to coach.
During registration- each coach will upload their photo image and present their image card during the pre-game conference with the referees.
The image will be easy to use on their mobile phone. The cost of registration for each coach/director is $29 and payment is required at the completion of the registration process.
All NJB coaches must attend a yearly live clinic. This includes all Divisional Head Coaches, Divisional Assistant Coaches and All-Net Coaches.
